Factory & Manufacturing

Advanced textile manufacturing — from yarn to finished functional fabric

Kunshan Seeking Tex&Tech Co., Ltd controls every stage of textile production — from the arrival of raw fibers and yarns to the final inspection of finished fabric rolls. Our manufacturing facility in Kunshan, Suzhou houses dedicated workshops for knitting/weaving, dyeing, finishing, coating, lamination, and quality testing.

By integrating R&D, prototyping, manufacturing, and testing under one roof, we eliminate the inefficiencies of fragmented supply chains and maintain direct control over fabric quality, material selection, and delivery timelines. Every roll that leaves our workshop is made by our people, on our equipment, to our standards.

Manufacturing Workshops

Knitting & Weaving

Advanced circular knitting machines and rapier weaving looms produce high-quality fabric substrates. Computer-controlled tension systems ensure consistent fabric density and uniform structure across every roll.

Knitting & Weaving

Dyeing & Finishing

Precision dyeing workshop with programmable jet dyeing machines and padding lines. Color matching via spectrophotometry ensures batch-to-batch consistency. Finishing processes include heat setting, sanforizing, and anti-pilling treatments.

Dyeing & Finishing

Functional Coating & Lamination

Coating lines apply PU, PVC, silicone, and acrylic finishes for waterproof, UV-blocking, and antibacterial properties. Lamination lines bond membranes and functional layers with precise temperature and pressure control.

Functional Coating & Lamination

Printing & Embossing

Digital printing and rotary screen printing for custom patterns and branding. Embossing and calendering lines add texture, gloss control, and surface effects for specialized applications.

Printing & Embossing

Inspection & Rewinding

Automated inspection lines scan every meter of fabric for defects using vision systems. Fabric is rewound, measured, and packaged according to customer specifications.

Inspection & Rewinding

Quality Testing Laboratory

Dedicated quality lab equipped with standardized testing equipment for UPF rating, waterproofness, tensile strength, abrasion, colorfastness, and dimensional stability. Operates independently from production.

Production Flow

From Yarn to Finished Fabric

Every fabric batch passes through 6 production stages with QC checkpoints at every step. No shortcuts, no skipped inspections.

01

Material Receiving & Incoming QC

All incoming raw materials are logged by batch/lot number in our ERP system. Fibers, yarns, chemicals, and auxiliaries are quarantined until QC sign-off.

QC Checkpoint

Fiber composition verification, yarn count (Ne), twist per meter, chemical purity analysis, MSDS review

Pass / Fail Threshold

100% of batches tested. Reject if composition deviates >2%, chemical purity < spec, or any impurity detected

02

Knitting / Weaving

Yarns are knitted or woven into fabric substrates on circular knitting machines or rapier looms. Machine parameters are set per spec for weight, density, and width.

QC Checkpoint

Fabric weight (g/m²) every 500 m, width measurement hourly, visual defect scan, stitch density check

Pass / Fail Threshold

Weight tolerance ±5%, width tolerance ±1 cm. Any structural defect (holes, slubs, press-off) = stop and inspect 100% of batch

03

Dyeing & Finishing

Greige fabric enters processing — scouring, bleaching, dyeing, and finishing. Programmable jet dyeing machines ensure precise color application. Heat setting stabilizes dimensions.

QC Checkpoint

Color matching via spectrophotometer (ΔE < 1.0), shade band assessment, pH verification, dimensional measurement, hand feel evaluation

Pass / Fail Threshold

ΔE ≤ 1.0 vs approved standard. Shade band: A-grade only. Dimensional shrinkage ≤ 3% (AATCC 135). Reject if any parameter fails

04

Functional Coating / Lamination

Fabric receives functional finishes — PU coating for waterproofness, UV-blocking additives for UPF, antimicrobial treatments, or membrane lamination. Coating thickness and cure temperature are precisely controlled.

QC Checkpoint

Coating weight (g/m²), adhesion strength (peel test), hydrostatic head test (waterproof), UPF measurement, spray rating test, air permeability

Pass / Fail Threshold

Coating weight ±5 g/m². Hydrostatic head ≥ spec min. UPF ≥ 50+ for sun protection. Spray rating ≥ 4 for water repellency

05

Testing & Quality Hold

Finished fabric samples are sent to the quality laboratory for comprehensive testing. Rolls are held in quarantine until all test results are approved and recorded.

QC Checkpoint

UPF rating (UV Standard 801), tensile strength (ASTM D5034), tear strength (ISO 13937), abrasion (Martindale), colorfastness (ISO 105 series), antibacterial (AATCC 100), dimensional stability (AATCC 135)

Pass / Fail Threshold

100% of batches tested per protocol. Any parameter below spec = batch re-evaluated. Failed batches are downgraded or rejected — never shipped as first-quality

06

Final Inspection & Packing

Final visual inspection under standardized lighting. Fabric is inspected for surface defects, color consistency, width uniformity, and weight verification. Rolls are labeled, wrapped, and packed for shipment.

QC Checkpoint

Full visual inspection per ASTM D5430, grade point system, roll length/weight verification, label accuracy, packaging integrity

Pass / Fail Threshold

AQL 2.5 for major defects (per ISO 2859). Zero tolerance on performance defects. 100% of rolls visually inspected
